Nursing Attendant - Medical Surgical - Day

Perform selected patient care treatments and tasks as delegated by a licensed nurse on the 30-bed surgical unit, including orthopedics, urology, and bariatric services. Recognize and understand physical, cognitive, and psychosocial changes unique to the age and population groups served. Maintain accountability for assigned duties and actions within the patient care team. Participate in an individualized orientation program with knowledgeable preceptors to develop clinical skills and enhance professional role competency. Work full-time shifts, including biweekly 72-hour days from 6 am to 6 pm, with every third weekend off and eligibility for shift and weekend differentials.
