Job Summary
Nursing Attendant - Labor and Delivery with a Part Time night schedule. Provide bedside nursing support under supervision of a registered nurse, including monitoring blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration; assist with meals and safe patient transport; maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment; contribute to patient comfort and care in collaboration with nurses and ICU technicians. Responsibilities emphasize compassionate, team-based patient care, and adherence to CPR requirements and Nurse Aide competencies while contributing to the efficiency of the Labor and Delivery unit.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association is required
- Must meet one of the following: Previous Nurse’s Aide experience in a hospital setting
- Certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program
- Current enrollment in a BSN program - at the junior year level and/or completion of at least one clinical practicum
