Job Summary
Provide direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding, and positioning. Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, specimens, and other patient data. Perform delegated clinical procedures such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and venipuncture. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and procedures. Perform clerical and unit coordination duties, including patient charts and physician orders. Maintain supplies, equipment, and a safe patient care environment. Respond to patient needs and emergency situations while providing compassionate, respectful care. Work 24 weekly hours (0.6 FTE) to 31.99 weekly hours (0.8 FTE) on the 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current KY Nurse Aide Certification
- Successful completion of first year of Nursing program with validation of clinical rotation
- Basic Life Support certification (with 30 days from hired date to provide completion if not already held)
