Job Summary
Caregiver/Nursing Assistant responsibilities include providing resident-centered support: assisting with ADLs, bathing, toileting, transfers, mobility, meals, and environmental orientation; delivering services per resident service plans; maintaining a home-like, dignified environment; building relationships with residents; adherence to infection control, reporting shifts, and coordinating with staff. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, state-specific certification as required, willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid, and is able to work weekends/holidays with a per diem/part-time schedule. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of current state-specific certification, where required
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
- 18–24 months experience in a similar position ( CPR/First Aid certified preferred)
- Ability to spend long periods on feet and to ambulate quickly
- English speaking and writing ability
