Job Summary
Nursing Assistant/Caregiver in an assisted living setting responsible for resident services and daily living support. Responsibilities include personal services, ADLs, mobility transfers, meal service, housekeeping, and adherence to infection control and safety procedures. Provide care per resident service plans, observe and communicate changes in resident status, support dignity and independence, and assist with social-recreational activities. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, state certification as required, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; weekend/holiday availability preferred. Full-time night shift with weekends and overnights, with benefits including medical, 401K match, PTO, and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of current state-specific certification where required
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience in caring for elderly residents (18–24 months preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; 35 pounds regularly
- English speaking and writing ability
- Ability to spend long periods on feet, ambulate, and work safely
