Job Summary
Nursing Assistant Trainee enrolled in a formal training program to develop the confidence and competence to provide personal care to clients under supervision, working with a licensed nurse and a preceptor. The program combines online curriculum with hands-on skills development, preparing participants to take state knowledge and skills exams to obtain CNA or other certification. The trainee will support the nursing team by assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, document care, communicate changes in client condition to licensed staff, and help with basic health care tasks, transfers, mobility, meals, and supportive care while adhering to infection prevention and privacy standards.
