Job Summary
Provide personal care to clients under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs. Assist with transfers, repositioning, range of motion exercises, and meal services while following infection prevention and privacy standards. Document client care and communicate changes in condition to the care team. Complete the hybrid nursing assistant training program, including online curriculum and hands-on skills development, to prepare for state certification exams. Work full-time day shifts within a senior care community setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required within four months of employment
- Certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry (when applicable)
- Valid driver's license (for Sanford Category II Driver classification)
- Medical qualification to perform essential driving functions
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
