Job Summary
Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures, then learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision. Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents and support them with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming. Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents while attending class, lab instruction, and clinical experiences to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam. This entry-level position offers hands-on mentorship from experienced healthcare professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment focused on compassionate care for aging guests and families.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- Passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
