Job Summary
The Technical Partner in the PCU/Oncology department delivers direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of RN or LPN, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and standards. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, responding to patient needs, measuring and documenting vital signs, and transporting patients. Required qualifications include a high school diploma and strong communication skills, while preferred qualifications include completion of a nursing aide program and relevant clinical experience. Basic Life Support certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
- Sound judgment, problem solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a Nurse Aide or comparable program (such as EMT, Medical Assistant, nursing student with at least one semester of clinical or prior experience in related field.
- Computer skills
- Phlebotomy
- EKG experience
Additional Requirements
- Act 33 with renewal.
- Act 34 with renewal.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
