Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant/Tech Partner provides essential patient care under RN or LPN direction, performing tasks such as assisting with activities of daily living, responding to patient needs, collecting and documenting patient data, as well as executing medical procedures like obtaining vital signs and performing EKGs. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to support patient care and foster self-care while collaborating with healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
- Sound judgment
- Problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow directions from other team members
- Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a Nurse Aide or comparable program (such as EMT, Medical Assistant, nursing student with at least one semester of clinical or prior experience in related field
- Computer skills
- Phlebotomy
- EKG experience
