Job Summary
Technical Partner provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN; performs and assists with patient care needs and activities of daily living; responds to call lights; collects and documents patient data; obtains vital signs, weights, and various equipment; transports patients; may perform EKGs, glucose testing, and ostomy care; conducts regular hourly rounds, supports education to promote health and independence, collaborates with healthcare providers, communicates critical information during shifts and transfers, participates in performance improvement activities; acts as a mentor/preceptor to new hires and students, and assists in maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved by American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program
- Ability to follow directions from team members
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Work independently as assigned
