Job Summary
Conduct direct hands-on care and perform delegated nursing tasks under perioperative nurse supervision. Assist with patient transfers from carts to chairs and wheelchairs, including moving discharged patients weighing up to 200 lbs via wheelchair or other transportation. Respond to staff requests for assistance, verify equipment functionality, and manage inventory by restocking, labeling, and distributing instruments, trays, and crash carts. Maintain clean work areas, dispose of waste and linen, and document maintenance activities while adhering to departmental policies. Work full-time 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday at the Plymouth Bass Lake Surgery Center, with potential flexibility to float to other Summit centers.
