Job Summary
Nursing Assistant/Resident Assistant — Full-Time Day Shift provides direct resident care per each resident’s plan of care under direct supervision of the Charge Nurse. Responsibilities span nutritional care (assessing preferences, serving meals, monitoring intake), continence care (assistance with bedpan/urinal, catheter care, samples as directed), mobility assistance (ambulation, transfers, range of motion), personal hygiene, comfort and quality of line needs, effective communication with residents and staff, and resident protection (infection control, HIPAA, safety policies). Requires completing an approved NA training program per Minnesota Registry; reports to Director of Nursing; 16+ years old minimum; strong communication, organization, teamwork, and documentation skills; physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and assist with mobility. Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed an approved NA training program and by on the Minnesota NA Registry or shall be enrolled in an approved training program and successfully complete that class and testing within 4 months of the date of hire.
