Job Summary
Provide delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks under general supervision and according to established procedures. Function as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse while managing several drips and other specialized procedures for a high acuity-based cardiovascular population. Work 24 hours weekly from 7am to 7pm in the 32-bed Progressive Care Unit, which serves patients with diagnoses including CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, and sepsis. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to cultivate and expand assessment skills within a growing family focused on clinical excellence and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Must be able to work part-time (24 Hours Weekly)
- Must be available for Days shifts (7am-7pm)
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
- Must be subject to post offer, pre-employment drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience
- High school diploma/equivalent
- CNA certification
