Nursing Assistant - Per Diem - New Advanced Acute Care Unit - No CNA Required

Job Summary
Perform direct patient care activities and clerical duties as needed in the acute care unit, including assisting with activities of daily living, hygiene, and specimen transport. Monitor patient conditions, document physical needs, and report changes to licensed personnel while maintaining specimen integrity. Execute point-of-care testing, process orders, coordinate patient transportation, and manage clerical equipment to facilitate throughput. Serve as a preceptor for new staff and students, transport non-controlled medications and blood products, and communicate with food services for dietary needs. Complete a two-week residency orientation program and maintain reliability for rotation shifts.

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience (Preferred)
- Currently enrolled in an accredited RN or LPN program
- Ability to attend minimum 2 week Residency Program/Orientation which will require full time hours for initial orientation period
