NURSING ASSISTANT/PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN - STEP DOWN UNIT

Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN. Deliver patient care per hospital policies and standards; assist with activities of daily living; respond to call lights and inquiries; collect and report patient data; obtain vital signs and other measurements as directed; transport patients; perform or assist with equipment setup and routine procedures; participate in unit performance improvement and education to promote health and outcomes; act as a patient advocate and mentor for new hires/students; support infection control and regulatory compliance; contribute to safe, efficient patient care and timely communications during shifts.
