Nursing Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery FT, Nights

Collect patient data, perform basic nursing procedures, and assist with treatments and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Turn and reposition patients, assist with activities of daily living and hygiene, and help with toileting needs including catheter removal. Transport patients, administer fall prevention interventions, remove anti-emboli hose, and collect specimens like urine and sputum. Take and record vital signs, prepare patients for meals, and maintain room and utility room cleanliness. Dispose of excess linen, perform point of care testing, and document all activities accurately in the EMR. Report lab values to the RN and complete admission tasks by preparing rooms and orienting patients. Work nights at Greenville Memorial Hospital's Orthopedic Surgery unit.
