Job Summary
Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under RN guidance, including vital signs, personal care, hygiene, mobility, and acts as liaison between patient and nurse; emphasizes accurate documentation, professional communication, and patient/customer service; role includes potential required travel to off-site locations and adherence to infection control policies; full-time night shift (36 hours/week) with every 3rd weekend and alternating summers/holidays; supports Mercy Health values and patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (preferred)
- Nursing Student with First Clinical Rotation complete OR state testing complete (required)
- Successful Completion of PCT Training Program within 6 months of start date
- Education High School/GED (preferred)
