Job Summary
Conduct patient care including bathing with basin-less products, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care. Participate in hourly rounds and transport patients to treatment centers while assisting with stretcher and wheelchair movement. Maintain cleanliness of instruments, equipment, and patient rooms; monitor and replenish unit supplies as directed. Perform other duties assigned. This per diem day shift role at Select Specialty Hospital offers extensive orientation and potential advancement to full-time positions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
- Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire
