Job Summary
Conduct patient care services including bathing with basin-less products, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care. Participate in hourly rounds and transport patients to treatment centers while assisting with moving them in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs. Maintain cleanliness of instruments, equipment, and patient rooms, and manage unit stock levels of supplies as directed. Perform other duties as assigned. Full-time day shift with 12-hour shifts at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, MS. Compensation is $16.00 to $19.51 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant
- Certification as a nursing assistant
- Experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
