Job Summary
Nursing Assistant position at Fairfield Medical Center (Lancaster, OH) under the direction of a Staff RN, providing patient care including bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care, and changing bed linens; collects and documents vital signs; assists with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care including positioning, lifting, and turning; reports changes in patient condition and assists with treatment procedures while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. The role emphasizes accurate intake/output documentation, equipment maintenance, and contributing to a compliant care environment. Part-time, night shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
- STNA preferred
- CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment
- Nursing assistant experience preferred
- Must be able to physically exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
