Job Summary
Nursing Assistant supports patient care under the direction of a Staff RN, providing personal care (bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care, changing bed lines) and collecting vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height, weight). Assists with pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care (positioning, lifting, turning), reports condition changes, maintains supplies, and ensures HIPAA confidentiality. Requires ability to assist with patient handling (physical exertion) and adherence to professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
- STNA preferred
- CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment
- Nursing assistant experience preferred
