Job Summary
Provide direct care to patients and serve their needs for safety and comfort under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, or Assistant Head Nurse. Perform duties including personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, comfort care, patient transfers, vital signs monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting changes in patient condition. Maintain a safe, clean environment to promote healing while adhering to Joint Commission and regulatory agency requirements. Work 48 hours per two weeks in rotating day, evening, or overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
- Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry
- 48 hours per 2 weeks
- Every Other Weekend
- Rotating 8 Hour Shifts
- Day Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
- Evening Shift: 2:00PM - 10:30PM
- Overnight Shift: 10:00PM - 6:30AM
- Weekends: Every Other Weekend
- Holidays: Yes
- Call Obligation: No
