Job Summary
Provide direct care to patients by assisting with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and comfort care while safely transferring individuals. Take vital signs, complete recordkeeping, and promptly report changes in patient condition to a Registered Nurse. Maintain a safe, clean environment to promote healing under the supervision of nursing staff. Recognize and address changes in patient status immediately. Works within job scope to meet Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification required within 3 months after hire
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
- Certified Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health preferred, if no CNA, must be registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within three months of date of employment
- Valid driver's license
