Job Summary
Conduct basic patient care activities to address personal needs and comfort while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and high patient satisfaction. Perform duties across multiple work areas, including the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th floors and the Emergency Department, while maintaining solid clinical skills. Work rotating shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every third weekend and holiday rotation required. Possess the physical ability to stand for long periods and meet effort conditions within the job description. STNA certification preferred, with previous nursing assistant experience highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend rotation
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of state testing certificate program
- Nursing assistant certification
- Successful completion of at least one quarter or semester of clinical work in a health-related program
