Job Summary
Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance, including bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation, and emotional support under RN or LPN supervision. Administer delegated tasks, collect non-invasive biological specimens, and record vital statistics. Perform clerical work for scheduling and documentation, prepare and clean treatment areas, maintain medical equipment, and dispose of biomedical waste. When necessary, deliver one-on-one care to assigned patients during the scheduled night shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aid Registry with current work eligibility
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred
- If working in North Dakota (ND) or Minnesota (MN) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Dept. of Health or through the Minnesota Dept. of Health within four months from the date of hire
