Job Summary
Under general supervision, perform daily duties including basic patient care, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, nutritional support, and maintaining the patient environment. Provide support to licensed staff in carrying out related tasks. Maintain current CPR certification and hold required Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts. Complete four years of high school or equivalent, with a Nursing Assistant Training Program graduate status preferred. Three months of acute care or long-term setting experience is preferred. Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or exempt by signed statement. Day and evening shifts from 7:00am to 3:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation available.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training
- Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent
- Current CPR Certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Must be available for weekend and holiday rotation
- Must be available for Day/Evening shift
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program
- Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting
