Job Summary
Assist with direct patient care including oral care, bathing, toileting, and meal delivery while performing ADLs, vital signs collection, and mobility assistance. Monitor patients for safety, conduct intentional rounding, and document intake, output, and clinical data in the EMR. Transport patients, respond to emergencies, and report changes to the Registered Nurse under supervision. Perform unit stocking, room preparation, and clerical support as needed. Works nights (3x12s, 7p-7a) with a $4.00 shift differential, requiring BLS certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS certification within 6 months of hire date
- Must be able to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
- Must be able to perform occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, typing/clerical/dexterity, kneeling, repetitive motion
- Must be able to perform frequent grasping, hearing, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing/monitor/computer use, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity (color, depth, perception), walking
- Must be able to perform constant fit testing
