Job Summary
Provide personal services such as bathing and hygienic care, change linens, and position and turn bedridden patients. Assist with feeding patients, set up equipment and instruments for routine and complex examinations and procedures, and perform general maintenance duties such as cleaning and arranging supply carts. Document information into an electronic medical record system. Requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-04 or a bachelor's degree in related courses. Rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. US Citizens only.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizens
- One year of specialized experience that is equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal Service which includes providing nursing care to patients, setting up or operating medical equipment, and documenting information into an electronic medical record system
- Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with courses related to the occupation
- Education credentials evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program
