Job Summary
The Nurse Assistant assists the nursing staff by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties in caring for patients in the Telemetry Unit, which provides intermediate-level care for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include providing basic physical care, assisting with nutritional needs, maintaining a safe environment, and documenting appropriate procedures according to hospital policy. This role requires supervision from a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse and is suitable for new graduates with the necessary qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent

- CNA preferred
- ACLS required
- BLS required
