Job Summary
Provide population-specific nursing care as a Nursing Assistant; assist with data collection for objective assessment, and identify patient needs, reporting to the charge nurse/team leader. Perform duties including bathing, vital signs, glucose monitoring, walking, and responding to call lights; document accurately in the EMR; maintain HIPAA compliance; support organizational mission and patient care standards; collaborate with healthcare team and demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, and commitment to quality and process improvement. Also responsible for home environment care tasks, incident reporting, and adherence to safety and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of certified nurse assistant course.
- Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
- MO CNA, EMT, or have completed Fundamentals Class in Nursing school.
- Work Experience: Successful completion of hospital orientation.
