Job Summary
Provide direct care to patients and serve their needs under the supervision of registered nurses, focusing on personal hygiene, nutritional assistance, comfort care, and safe patient transfers. Take vital signs, complete recordkeeping, and promptly report changes in patient condition. Maintain a safe, clean environment while adhering to Joint Commission and regulatory standards. Requires BLS certification within three months and completion of a recognized nurse aide training program. Schedule includes rotating 8-hour shifts (day, evening, overnight) with every other weekends, working 48 hours per two weeks.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
- Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry
- 48 hours per 2 weeks
- Every Other Weekend
- Rotating 8 Hour Shifts
- Day Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
- Overnight Shift: 11:00PM - 7:30AM
- Recognition and reporting of changes in patient condition to the RN
- Verification of legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
