Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee daily clinical operations to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met, providing training, supervision, and monitoring of staff delivering direct care. Assess residents' health and psychosocial status to initiate individualized service plans, while proactively managing care and arranging ancillary services like pharmacy and lab work. Communicate regularly with families and health practitioners regarding care needs, problem-solve with the Director of Nursing on urgent health concerns, and ensure all resident records are properly documented. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resident care regulations and participate in marketing efforts by representing the residence positively to outside agencies.
Required Qualifications
- LPN or RN degree
- active license
- Minimum of 2 years working in geriatric nursing
- experience with medication administration

- Current First Aid and CPR card
- Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

- Lifting 25-50 pounds occasionally

- Standing long periods of time
