Job Summary
Nursing Assistant in Coronary Care Unit (CCU) supporting RN in a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment. Core duties include helping with daily living activities, vital signs, patient comfort, and patient experience; may perform advanced skills as unit needs (phlebotomy, EKG, removal of Foley catheters, and other tasks). Includes clerical support, data retrieval, and maintaining unit supplies. Emphasizes compassionate, professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare team, with adherence to safety, HIPAA, and infection-control practices. Night, part-time shift at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw, GA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- High School rising Senior in good standing (where applicable)
