Job Summary
Nursing Assistant - CCU at WellStar Kennestone Hospital (Part-time, Night Shift). Works under the guidance of the RN to support care in the Coronary Care Unit, assisting with basic patient care tasks (ADL, ambulation, vital signs), patient comfort, and collaboration with the healthcare team. May perform advanced skills as unit needs arise (phlebotomy, EKG, Foley catheter removal). Includes clerical duties such as data retrieval and supply/patient medication transport, and requires strong communication, organization, and HIPAA-compliant patient interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma OR GED OR High School diploma equivalent
- Part-time night shift
- Nursing Assistant - CCU experience preferred
- Basic patient care skills (ADL, vital signs)
- Ability to work under pressure in a CCU environment
- Phlebotomy, EKG, removal of Foley catheters may be required
