Job Summary
Nursing Assistant - CCU in the Coronary Care Unit (part-time, night shift) supports patient-centered care under the direction of the RN in a cardiac ICU. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, basic patient care, and potential advanced skills such as phlebotomy, dressing changes, Foley catheter removal, and IV care, while performing clerical tasks, data entry in EMR, and ensuring safety, HIPAA compliance, and effective communication.
