Nursing Assistant - Coronary Care Unit

Nursing Assistant - CCU (Part-time, Night Shift) at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Supports licensed nurses in a 18-bed cardiac ICU by performing basic patient care functions (ADLs, ambulation, vital signs) and assisting with more advanced skills as unit needs require (phlebotomy, EKG, Foley/IV care, dressing changes) while maintaining patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality. Partner with the nurse and healthcare team to implement the plan of care, ensure timely communication, and contribute to a positive patient experience. Strong emphasis on teamwork, effective communication, adherence to HIPAA, infection control, and utilization of EMR/documentation. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and provide compassionate care under the direction of an RN.
