Nursing Assistant

Manage patient care and clerical tasks for the 54-bed Medical Observation Unit, coordinating communication, stocking supplies, and performing assessments and shift documentation per policy. Monitor and stock supplies while handling rapid patient turnover, completing 1-4 discharges, transfers, and assessments during a 12-hour night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Provide patient care and related functions as delegated by a registered nurse for patients with mental status changes, cardiac issues, UTI, pneumonia, and behavioral needs.
