Job Summary
Conduct patient care duties including bathing with basin-less products, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care. Participate in hourly rounds and transport patients to treatment centers, assisting with movement on stretchers and wheelchairs. Maintain cleanliness of instruments, equipment, and patient rooms while managing unit supply stock levels. Perform other assigned duties as needed. This per diem role offers 12-hour shifts at Select Specialty Hospital in Youngstown, OH, with pay of $23.50 per hour plus weekend differentials. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
- Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire
