Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Specialties - Acute Care

Care Partner (Nursing Assistant/CNA) at Wellstar provides basic patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse to promote a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, ambulation, vital signs, and other tasks (including potential advanced skills such as phlebotomy, simple treatments, dressing changes, and Foley catheter management) as unit needs require. The role supports safe, age-appropriate, compassionate care, performs clerical duties as needed, communicates effectively with the care team, and participates in patient rounding. Requires strong communication, teamwork, HIPAA/privacy adherence, AIDET principles, and adherence to infection control practices; certification and BLS are required upon hire. Location is Kennesaw, GA, with in-person duties in a hospital setting; shift options include FULL-TIME and PART-TIME. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with RNs and the healthcare team, and contributing to the plan of care with professionalism and sensitivity to patient and family needs.
