Job Summary
Care Partner supports RN and healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care, assists with activities of daily living and comfort measures, monitors vital signs, may perform advanced skills (phlebotomy, EKG, removal of Foley catheters and removal of IVs) as unit needs require, and completes clerical tasks such as data retrieval and supply/patient medication transport; must work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with the RN and healthcare team, maintain HIPAA privacy, and provide compassionate, respectful care.
Required Qualifications
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Graduation from a State approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program Upon Hire
