Job Summary
Care Partner (Nursing Assistant) under the direction of the Registered Nurse in acute care settings. Delivers patient-centered care, assists with activities of daily living, monitors vital signs, and supports the healthcare team to enhance patient experience. May perform advanced skills such as phlebotomy, simple treatments, dressing changes, oral suctioning, and Foley catheter removal as unit needs permit. Handles clerical tasks, data retrieval, and EMR documentation. Emphasizes safety, HIPAA compliance, AIDET communication, teamwork, and professional nursing practice. Requires ability to follow detailed directions, strong interpersonal and documentation skills, and capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Minimum age 16; multiple shifts available including full-time and part-time; BLS/ARC-BLS certifications required upon hire; graduation from a state-approved CNA/Patient Care Tech program preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Rising Senior in Good Standing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from a State approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program Upon Hire
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
