Job Summary
Care Partner provides patient-focused support under RN direction, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic patient care (ADLs) in an acute care unit. Responsibilities include collaborating with nurses and the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care, delivering safe and compassionate service, performing tasks such as phlebotomy, dressing changes, oral suctioning, Foley catheter removal as required, maintaining unit supplies, documenting in the EMR, and upholding HIPAA/privacy standards. Excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential, with opportunities across multiple shifts (FULL-TIME & PART-TIME) in Smyrna, GA.
Required Qualifications
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Graduation from a State approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program Upon Hire
- Wellstar minimum age of hire is 16
- Required Minimum Education: Rising Senior in Good Standing Other or High School Diploma General-Preferred or GED General-Preferred
