Job Summary
Nursing Assistant/CNA providing direct personal care and health-related support in a small residential setting serving up to four individuals. Responsibilities include assisting with personal cares, medication administration as trained, mobility support (including transfers and Hoyer lifts), meal preparation, housekeeping, documentation, and collaboration with supervisors to implement individual care plans. Maintain a safe, clean living environment and use behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques as trained. Requires a valid driver’s license and relevant nursing assistant training/certification; must be 18+ and able to stand/walk, assist with transfers, and lift up to 50 pounds. Provides compassionate, person-centered care aligned with dignity, independence, and community inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program within the last 10 years
- Nursing Assistant certification does not need to be current but must not be revoked
- Certification, diploma, or transcripts must be provided
