Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and support in a small residential setting (~up to four individuals), including personal cares, health-related tasks, medication assistance as trained, meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to implement individualized care plans, utilize behavior support strategies and crisis prevention techniques, document care electronically, and maintain a clean, safe living environment. Requires strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities and complex medical needs. Growth opportunities, paid training, and benefits are offered; starting rate is $22.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program within the last 10 years.
- Nursing Assistant certification does not need to be current but must not be revoked.
- Certification, diploma, or transcripts must be provided.
