Job Summary
Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Cardiac Telemetry/Congestive Heart Failure at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center (Powder Springs, GA). Full-time night shift with competitive sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance. Care Partner supports the RN by delivering patient-centered care, basic nursing functions (ADL support, vital signs, ambulation), and collaboration with the healthcare team to enhance patient experience. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, ensuring safety, assisting with direct patient care (hygiene, nutrition, mobility, comfort), documenting in EMR, and participating in unit operations and communication with patients, families, and staff. May require advanced skills such as phlebotomy, dressing changes, oral suctioning, and Foley catheter management as unit needs evolve. Requires strong organization, multi-tasking, and compassionate, respectful service mindset. HIPAA compliance and effective communication are emphasized; teamwork and adherence to the care plan are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required by employer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
