Job Summary
Provide resident-centered nursing care as a Nursing Assistant in a long-term care setting under RN supervision; assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing), measure and record vital signs, assist with transfers and mobility using proper techniques, support meals and dining experience, and provide psychosocial support. Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE use, document resident interactions and care outcomes, and assist with wellness/recreational programs. Requires CNA certification and state registry; HS diploma or GED preferred. PRN shift with varying hours. Includes potential participation in driving responsibilities depending on facility needs and policy.
Required Qualifications
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- CNA training and certification provided by facility
- Minimum age 16
- High school graduate or GED preferred
