Job Summary
Nursing Assistant Certified (CNA) – PRN at a not-for-profit senior-care facility. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision, including assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, mobility, vital signs, and documentation; supports infection prevention and PPE use; assists with transferring, ROM, and participation in wellness and recreational programs; participates in care planning and collaborates with nursing staff; requires CNA certification and compliance with continuing education and background checks; benefits package available for eligible staff; multiple ND locations (Lakota and Cooperstown).
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits
- A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually
- Maintains all department specific required certifications
- May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and valid driver’s license when applicable
