Nursing Assistant Certified

Assist in preparing patient rooms for admissions, transfers, and post-operative patients while using proper body mechanics for positioning and ambulating patients. Ensure patient hygiene, catheter care, and vital sign monitoring are completed daily, then report any changes in patient condition to the LPN/RN promptly. Accurately take and record weights, distribute water, label specimens, and prepare patients for surgery or procedures including bathing and voiding assistance. Make frequent patient rounds every two hours, reposition for comfort, and assist with post-mortem care as directed. This role involves rotating 12-hour shifts three days a week, including weekends and holidays. Florida Nursing Assistant Certification is preferred, with CPR certification required.
