Job Summary
Perform patient care activities under the supervision of Clinical Manager or Director, communicating pertinent findings and unusual observations to appropriate personnel. Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service to patients and families. Adhere to Southcoast VNA policies and procedures throughout daily home care duties. This role offers a $1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for rehire terms exceeding one year. The position includes a 32-hour day shift (7:30am–3:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotation, located at the Visiting Nurse Association in Fairhaven, MA. CNA certification and CPR certification are required, with a preference for Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training
- CNA certification
- CPR certification
- Three (3) months of related work experience
- Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
